For this week's "Staff Insights", we spoke to Andy McKenna. Andy is one of Industria's Operations Managers, and a long-term employee of the company. Andy has been with Industria for many years and is truly part of the Industria family.

We asked Andy some questions about his time before Industria, how he got into Industria, and what has made him stay over the years, as well as his thoughts on his future with Industria.
 

What did you do before you joined Industria?
Before coming to Industria, I spent some time as Transport Coordinator for the Leicester City Council.

What drew you to the recruitment sector?
I had worked previously in recruitment 2 years prior to starting with Industria, however the company I was working for unfortunately went into administration. I was always keen to return to the industry and Michael Walker and Industria gave me the perfect platform to train and develop within a growing company.

How long have you been with Industria?
August 2007 – 10 years this year!

Who introduced you to Industria?
Michael Walker.

Where do you see yourself in the future with Industria?
I’m very excited for my future with Industria! I am hoping to develop and progress within the company for many years to come. For me, Industria is part of my family and my co-workers are more than just colleagues - they're also friends.
