Job Description:

In this pivotal position, you will lead the supervision and support of operational processes that ensure the accurate management and integrity of both customer and supplier stock. Your expertise will be essential in aligning every aspect of warehouse operations with our rigorous standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations. As a key driver of continuous improvement and change, you will help propel the business forward, maintaining our reputation for operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Upholding Business Standards: You will ensure that the company’s key operational standards are consistently applied across all activities. By maintaining these standards, you’ll help safeguard the quality and reliability of our services.
  • Performance Management: You’ll establish clear, measurable performance targets for all warehouse functions, continually monitoring and analyzing these metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Your leadership will ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds these goals.
  • Relationship Building: Acting as a key point of contact, you will foster strong, productive relationships with internal teams as well as external customers and suppliers. Your communication skills will help resolve issues quickly and build trust across all parties.
  • System Control and Reporting: You’ll take ownership of system accuracy by thoroughly understanding stock adjustments, ensuring all changes are clearly documented and reported. This vigilance will support accurate stock records and operational transparency.
  • Stock Flow Optimization: You will oversee the efficient movement of stock throughout the site, coordinating activities to minimize delays and bottlenecks. Your focus on smooth logistics will contribute directly to operational success and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with site management, customer teams, and suppliers, you’ll ensure all stock-related activities are aligned and executed consistently. This collaboration will foster clarity and reliability across the supply chain.
  • Client Delivery and Compliance: You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of client operational requirements efficiently and effectively. This includes working towards key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives agreed upon with clients, while also managing any special projects or initiatives that arise.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Stewardship: You will maintain a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with all health and safety policies. Additionally, you will ensure environmental control measures are implemented and functioning, supporting our commitment to sustainability.
  • Team Leadership and Culture: By fostering a harmonized, people-focused team environment, you’ll motivate and develop your colleagues to achieve their best. Your leadership will help create a workplace culture that values teamwork, respect, and continuous growth.
  • Workplace Organization: You will oversee general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment, which is essential for safety and productivity.
