Your Privacy

Information provided to Industria by users through the use of this website will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

We gather information about site usage in order to assist in the development and improvement of service to the public. At the moment this information consists of:

  • Summary data provided by our ISP, which is derived from server logs using web statistics software. We do not receive the server logs themselves nor any related data that could identify individual users.
  • Information provided voluntarily by users through online forms and our mailing list. Comments and identifying information will only be held for as long as is necessary to ensure a proper response to queries and suggestions from users. Subscribers to our mailing list have their details held securely for the purposes of contacting them. Subscribers may opt to unsubscribe at any time – doing so will remove their details from our database.
  • We use ‘session based’ cookies for the convenience of user login. A ‘cookie’ is a temporary file that contains a string of alphanumeric characters, which is placed on the users PC for the duration of their visit only. This file does not contain any personal user information. This file is removed when the user logs out or closes their browser window.
