Inventory / Stock Controller
Location: Hinckley
Pay Rate: £13.50 AM Shift: 09:00-17:30
About the Role;
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and detail-focused Inventory / Stock Controller to join a fast-paced warehouse and logistics operation based in Hinckley. Temporary position working Monday to Friday.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong organisational skills, enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment, and has previous experience managing stock accuracy, inventory processes, and warehouse administration. You will play a key role in ensuring stock levels are maintained correctly, discrepancies are investigated, and all inventory records are kept accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining stock accuracy
- Carrying out stock counts and cycle counts
- Updating inventory records using warehouse systems
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Supporting goods in/out operations
- Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly
Skills & Experience Required
- No qualifications required however must have previous inventory / stock control experience within a warehouse/logistics site (Minimum 6 months)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & be prepared for tough physical counts/audits
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Willingness to learn as training will be provided.
