Job Description

• Attending properties to perform diagnostic/repairs/servicing

• Leveraging a genuine interest and knowledge-base to ensure that all diagnoses are as complete and accurate as possible

• Job reporting is absolutely paramount- good written communication and attention to detail is important, as well as photographs and videos where appropriate

• Providing part numbers and prices for necessary repairs, as well as reserving them at our supplier

• Communicating information necessary to the provision of a smooth and professional service to the office

• Presenting yourself well, both aesthetically and in your manner

• Attending properties to install boilers and cylinders, as well as other associated works such as installing radiators

• A strong ability to fit pipework in a robust and effective manner, with an eye for detail when it comes to neatness and presentation

•  Sound understanding of plumbing and heating system design, as well as an understanding of first fix of plumbing and heating systems is desirable

•  Job reporting is absolutely paramount- good written communication and attention to detail is important, as well as photographs and videos where appropriate

• Communicating information necessary to the provision of a smooth and professional service to the office

•  Presenting yourself well, both aesthetically and in your manner

The successful applicant will have / be:

• Qualified domestic gas installation engineer

• Experience in routine and emergency repairs

• Safety checks

• System installations

• Upgrades and a sound understanding of plumbing and heating systems

• Suitable qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ, with relevant domestic ACS qualifications, CCN/CPA, CEN/WAT, CKR, HTR and MET elements

• Knowledge and experience of health and safety at work is essential

•  Full UK driving licence

Location of work – Leicester

Hours – 0900-1700 Monday – Friday
