Working for a leading UK independent electrical engineering company based at Rugby which delivers design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and service solutions to customers across a broad range of industrial and commercial sectors.
Read and understand work instructions before starting work and sign off quality documentation when complete
Carry out quick changeovers between projects
Set up and run processes to ensure high quality consistent products
Set up and run processes to reduce waste
Have awareness and understanding of customer expectations and deadlines
Proactively look to find more efficient methods for manufacture
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
Demonstrable experience in reading engineering drawings and work instruction
Have a demonstrable history of working with their hands
Show drive, enthusiasm and be motivated to succeed
Willingness to take ownership
Ability to learn adapt quickly to changing requirements
Have basic numeracy skills
Must have basic measurement skills, tape measure, micrometre, Vernier calliper and go/no-go gauge.
Organised methodical and tidy worker
Able to work on own initiative or part of a team
Experience in coil manufacture desirable but not essential
The successful candidate will be working 38 hrs per week Monday – Friday
07.30 – 16.00 Monday – Thursday 07.00 – 12.00 Friday
Once permanent the hours will be based on annualised hours.
