Industria Staff Insights are featuring Iwona Poloczek – Branch Resourcer for Industria in Coventry.
Iwona was selected to be featured by Paul McNicholas, who was the focus of the last Staff Insights – Iwona joined the Industria Team recently but is settling in well at our Coventry office.
What did you do before you joined Industria?
“I was studying at De Montfort University and working at the same time. I have a procurement background, which I gained during previous job as a Contract Support Officer. I was helping our procurement officers with managing energy contracts.”
What drew you to the recruitment sector?
“It happened completely spontaneously. I was looking for a full-time job during the summertime and my friend Ewa Wieczorek, trainee branch manager, offered me a temporary position at the Coventry branch. I agreed without any doubts.”
How did you find out about working for Industria?
“From Trainee Branch Manager Ewa Wieczorek, who offered me a temporary job at the Coventry branch.”
Why in particular did you want to work for Industria?
“I wanted to get an insight on the recruitment sector as I have never worked in this sector before. This additional experience will be excellent for broadening my horizons and hopefully increase my chances to get a great job in the future.”
Where do you see yourself in the future with Industria?
“It’s hard to say, as I am going back to University in October to complete my final year. I am only here until the end of September - Only time will tell!”
