Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Weekend Warehouse Supervisor to serve as the senior lead during weekend operations. This critical role requires a self-sufficient leader who can independently manage all warehouse activities and exceptions with confidence and sound judgment.

As the lead person on-site across the weekend, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, maintaining safety standards, and serving as the bridge between weekday and weekend shifts. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to demonstrate your capability as a trusted, independent Supervisor. Full training will be provided over the course of weeks in which you will be supported by another supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Weekend Warehouse Supervisor:

• Serve as the lead person on-site during weekend operations, making all key operational decisions to ensure order fulfilment, shipping and carrier management meet the required levels.
• Deal with exceptional situations, including potential safety incidents, and unexpected operational challenges, with minimal external support
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including planning, task delegation, performance management, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Maintain clear and detailed communication with weekday management to ensure operational continuity and consistency between shifts
• Monitor and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Manage and support with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Coordinate with carriers and external partners as necessary
• Prepare shift reports, incident documentation, and performance updates for senior management

Qualifications and Certifications

• Current forklift counterbalance license
• Certification in First Aid

Experience

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience, with demonstrated progression of responsibility
• Proven track record of successfully managing operations independently with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience handling exceptional situations and the ability to show good judgement and self-sufficiency
• Strong initiative and self-direction – must be comfortable being the sole decision-maker on-site
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure seamless handoffs between weekday and weekend operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics operations
• Previous experience as the senior lead on-site or in a similar sole-leadership role (preferred)
• Experience managing weekend or off-shift operations (preferred)

Working Hours

The fixed shift pattern for this role will be as follows:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts, 40-hour contract)
