About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. Based at their Hinckley distribution facility, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods to meet business and customer expectations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse operations who is looking to bring their skills and leadership to a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, stock management, and order fulfilment.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Liaise with transport teams, suppliers, and other departments to ensure service levels are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using warehouse management systems.
  • Manage performance, rotas, and training of warehouse staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, KPIs, and budget performance to senior management.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role within a distribution or fulfilment centre.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and health & safety regulations
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Forklift licence is advantageous.
  • Driving licence & access to own vehicle for visiting their other site as and when required.
