Warehouse Operative
Location: Lutterworth
Pay Rate: £13.97 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy team in Lutterworth. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate after successful 12 weeks, offering a great opportunity to secure long-term work within a well-organised warehouse environment.
You’ll be responsible for a range of warehouse duties, ensuring files/stock are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently to support the smooth running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate picking, packing, and stock handling duties.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently as and when required.
- Operate warehouse equipment and follow site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement and inventory.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards.
No qualifications required for this role, full on job training will be provided however the candidate must possess the following:
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential. (Min 1 year).
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
