About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join a busy and growing logistics company based in Broughton Astley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or logistics experience who is looking for long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent position.
As a Warehouse Logistics Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques.
- Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area.
- Goods in/goods out duties, including receiving goods, unloading shipping container deliveries, loading orders, checking the accuracy and quality of all goods, making sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly.
- Checking delivery notes against goods received, ensuring these are cross-matched and comply with the goods ordered before booking in.
- Ensuring all deliveries are free from damage and reporting any discrepancies.
- Moving stock using a forklift. (Dependant on experience/licence)
- General housekeeping duties.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desired

Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Basic computer skills and experience with scanners or stock systems (desirable)
