Job Description:
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotating days & nights (7:00am–7:00pm / 7:00pm–7:00am)
Pay Rate: £14.54 per hour (rising to £15.31 per hour after 12 weeks)
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to join our production team. Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights), you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining factory equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities

Running, cleaning, and setting up factory equipment.

Operating and monitoring cutting and packing machines to maintain production flow.

Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and compliance standards.

Working collaboratively with the shift team to achieve production targets and maintain high standards.

Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Identifying and reporting equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime.

Maintaining accurate records of quality checks and production data.
Qualifications and Certifications
No qualifications required.
Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights).

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Understanding of health & safety standards within a factory environment.
