Job Description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical systems.
Hours
Monday-Friday 0800-1600 with a 1500 finish on a Friday
Duties, experience and qualifications:
Responsible for the reliability & maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, including site facilities.
Working within a small team to deliver a maintenance & production improvement plan to ensure business goals are met, with the focus on OEE and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) improvement.
Contributes to regular reviews of manufacturing outputs ensuring that the operations team has clear priorities for attention.
Problem solving, trouble shooting and fault diagnosis skillset to ensure the reliability of the process and deal with all ad hoc breakdowns.
Undertaking regular SMS activities to ensure uptime of all machinery.
Daily reporting into the Maintenance Lead, whilst completing all job records and scheduled maintenance tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner ensuring all stakeholders are fully informed of emerging risks and ongoing improvements.
Maintaining up to date and accurate documentation for all equipment and processes, including risk assessments, standard operating procedures (SOP), operating manuals etc.
Actively look for and contribute to cost savings & continuous improvement projects within the department.
Ensure the site and equipment on site is maintained to a high standard according to compliance whilst maximising OEE.
Drive a TPM culture with the target of zero breakdowns.
Be accountable for machine performance and uptime so that deliverables and goals are met or exceeded.
