Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic and visionary Head of Tech & Data to spearhead our clients technology and data strategy during a pivotal period of business transformation, working directly with a Board Director.
As the Head of Tech & Data, you will prioritise these areas as core pillars of our business strategy. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive 5-year Tech strategy, which will include reviewing and optimising our entire tech stack to ensure it aligns with the company’s evolving needs.
With the company undergoing a significant business transformation, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Transformation to ensure technology supports and drives this change. Your leadership will be crucial in aligning technological advancements with broader business objectives, enabling innovation, and positioning the company for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Data
- Build and manage a centralised data platform
- Provide dynamic, real-time reporting and analytics
- Lead data governance and integrity initiatives
- Advance automation and predictive analytics capabilities
Technology Partnership & Project Delivery
- Act as a strategic technology partner to business leaders
- Identify and implement tech solutions to enhance workflows
- Own IT projects aligned with strategic goals and OKRs
- Deliver transformation projects in scope, on time, and within budget
Systems, Infrastructure & Support
- Own and optimise all internal systems for performance and stability
- Manage infrastructure: servers, networks, cloud, and hardware
- Lead responsive IT support aligned with SLAs and user satisfaction
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Cybersecurity & Risk
- Lead cybersecurity strategy and protection measures
- Ensure GDPR compliance as designated Data Protection Officer (DPO)
- Assess and mitigate IT risks; maintain incident response plans
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership in IT/BI functions minimum 5 years
- Deep knowledge of tech infrastructure, data systems, and compliance
- Experience in managing cross-functional tech teams
- Track record of successful project delivery and change management
Working Hours: Business hours between 08:00-17:00pm Monday – Friday
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Type: Full-Time, Onsite
