HANDYPERSON/SKILLED LABOURER - TEMPORARY

Industria Personnel Services are currently recruiting for a Handyman/Skilled labourer to work at our prestigious client based in Melton.  

About our Client:

Our client is a large manufacturer of high quality timber interior and exterior doors, windows and stairs. 

Pay - Dependent on experience

This position is temporary with the potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Hours

Mon to Fri

07.30am - 4.30pm

Location of work – Melton

Job Description:  

• Tiling

• Basic plumbing (including capping off a radiator, installing taps, replacing a WC)

• Decorating (including plastering, painting, filling, taping and jointing)

• Joinery (including installation of partition walls, door ironmongery)

• Building (including mixing cement, repairing a brick wall)

• Complete all job sheets / reports as required in a timely manner

• Any other business as required for the role

Essential Skills:

• An enthusiastic individual

• Previous experience within the property maintenance sector - minimum 3 months

• Fluent verbal English and basic written English

• Good communication

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, decorating and plastering etc.

• Excellent time management and organisation

• Knowledge of this industry and Building Regulations would be advantageous but not essential. 

• We are looking for a team player but one who enjoys working on their own initiative to provide a high standard of customer service.

• Full UK Driving licence
