JOB PURPOSE: The role of Traffic Facilitator in the Outbound Transport team is critical in ensuring the co-ordination, dispatch and shipment of all export orders from the site, processing the documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Plan, process and complete the documentation for export orders using SAP, as well as placing bookings with preferred Carriers daily. Order documentation and bookings are applicable to hazardous and non-hazardous materials for export.
Plan and manage daily process area output in alignment with performance and quality targets.
Comply with all company policies, specifically, but not limited to attendance, performance and Health and safety policy.
Fully converse with all processes to enable any issues to be dealt with in a timely and effective manner, including the application of Warehouse Management systems and other process related applications.
Able to interpret analysis and data sets to drive a culture of fact-based decision-making. Ability to formulate data and to aid decision making and action
Identifies and supports opportunities for continuous improvement on processes to aid quality and efficiency and communicates with the team effectively.
Previous experience of working in a Transport or Freight Forwarding environment is beneficial but not essentia
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
Computer skills including use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Self-starter with the ability to engage and communicate at all levels
