Industria Staff Insights are featuring Shalise Fox - Onsite Contract Manager this week.

Shalise was selected to be featured by Dorota Hemperek  who was the focus of the last Staff Insights - Shalise is a key member of our UK wide on-site team.

What did you do before you joined Industria?

“Before Industria I worked as a custody officer with young offenders .It was in a secure training centre which is a custodial setting for under 18’s.”

What drew you to the recruitment sector?

“I have done a bit of temporary work with Industria over the years during their busy periods and always thoroughly enjoyed it so I jumped at the chance of a fulltime role here.

I wanted a new challenge and thought that it would be a great opportunity. I love helping people, assisting candidates to find jobs and supporting clients to allow them to focus on running their business and this role is perfect for that.”

How did you find out about working for Industria?

“I was looking for a change from my previous job and I contacted Industria to make them aware I was interested.  I was offered an interview with Kim Veasey in Hinckley for a temporary on-site Christmas role at Magna Park.
I started the role there and loved it; I stayed until the end of December. I was then offered an interview for another onsite role with a permanent contract at Industria’’

Why in particular did you want to work for Industria?

"Having worked for Industria on a temporary basis a few times over the years I always noticed the fact that everyone really cares!
The Industria staff care about each other and the team is like a massive family, they also really care about their candidates, clients and achieving the best results for everyone."

Where do you see yourself in the future with Industria? 

“At the moment, I am happy with what I am doing. I enjoy my current role and the challenges that come with it. I have a fantastic relationship with the colleagues that I work with on a daily basis - we make a great team!  I would really like to continue with that for the time being.
I feel like there are still a lot of aspects of recruitment that I would like to develop, I would like to expand my skills and experience in the future with the Industria team.”
