What did you do before you joined Industria?

“Before I joined Industria I had spent a gap year working in France for three months and the remainder of the year at Alliance & Leicester. Following this I studied History and Politics and started working for Industria as a temp to fund my studies (and drink) at University.”

What drew you to the recruitment sector?

“I initially registered with Industria during summer holidays at University as a loader / unloader at one of Industria’s clients. It all started from there really - on my next summer break I was offered a role in the office (as the tea boy) and began to learn the ropes from Mathew Coulson, Charlotte Gent and Jess Bale, who are all still working at Industria which shows how close a team we are.”

Why in particular did you want to work for Industria?
“I really enjoy the fast paced environment and company ethos. It doesn’t matter how busy we are or whatever challenge we face, we always come through them smiling, laughing and together as a team. It’s nice to know that regardless of whether you are a trainee consultant, contract or branch manager or even a director that you are all striving for the same goals and that you are all putting in the hard work. Also the annual Christmas party is not to be missed!”

How did you find out about working for Industria?

“Word of mouth - it was a slightly younger Charlotte Gent who offered me my first role with Industria.”

Where do you see yourself in the future with Industria?

“I thoroughly enjoy working for Industria and hope to do so for the foreseeable future. In my time here I have worked in many different roles and locations and I hope to continue to grow alongside the company. Industria also sponsor my football team so I don’t want that to end either!”
